Humane Earth

Can you imagine

a more humane world?

A world where people are good to the Earth and good to each other?

Where people do not hurt each other or animals?

Where everyone is included and everyone is safe?

Tell us about it!

Humane Earth is a wiki. That means any person can edit almost any page. In fact, we want you to!

Here, people work together to think about a more humane world. When we say "humane," we mean 5 things:

SISCO
  • Sustainable: Be good to the Earth
  • Inclusive: Include everyone
  • Safe: Put no one in danger
  • Cruelty-free: Hurt no one
  • Other qualities related to the subject: Think about other ways to be more humane

We call these 5 things SISCO for short. (To read more, click on the blue "SISCO" link.)

As a wiki, Humane Earth is like the website Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia of how the world is. Humane Earth is like an encyclopedia of how the world should be.

What you will find here

Each page talks about a subject. That subject is

Photo of shutters from the "buildings" page
  • Something people make
  • The way people do something
  • Or a way we organize our societies

Not many pages have been made yet - but you can change that!

Want an example? Read the page about buildings. It is not bad, but you could add more to it.

Find other pages in the directory. (You can also find pages that need to be started.)

So how do I make or change pages?

Picture of "edit" tab

It is easy. To begin, read How can I help?

Have questions? Talk to James. (To learn how to talk to people on Humane Earth, read about "discuss" pages.)

Together, we can start making Earth a more humane place.
